I can't keep the lyrics to one of our new songs from turning over and over in my mind. Most days it is difficult for me to try and grasp the concept of God's love for us…..for me. There are so many moments where I just don't feel all that loveable! Do you ever have moments like that? I'm reminded of these words from Isaiah 62, "…As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you."

It amazes me that HE - the God of the universe - rejoices over me….that is a mind blower!

"More than I could hope or dream of 

You have poured Your favor on me 

One day in the House of God is 

Better than a thousand days in the world…"

For me, "One Day" is a song of declaration. It reminds me that God pours His favor on me simply because I’m His child and I can cling to that fact in both the good and the difficult times. I don’t deserve it, but He still does it.

God is capable of accomplishing things in and through us that go far beyond our wildest dreams! That is the kind of God we serve! 

"So blessed, I can't contain it 

So much I've got to give it away 

Your Love has taught me to live now 

You are more than enough for me"

Whether we’re on the mountaintop or in the valley we need to continue to praise Him and to declare that He is more than enough for us and He has exactly what we need. This song is a great reminder of those truths straight from the heart of God!

Remember today, that HE is more than enough for you!
